When the Online Search Does Not Find Someone

A failed search has several possible explanations: a same-day booking may not have appeared yet, the person may have been released, the name may be entered differently, the person may be in court movement, or the custody may be outside Sonoma County. Sonoma's general account is used for commissary funds. Communication-account funds use ViaPath for phone, tablet, and messaging services. Deposits after initial booking are not accepted if they cause the inmate's account balance to exceed $1,000.

Commissary is operated at MADF. Incarcerated persons order through housing-module kiosks and tablets, with a weekly purchase limit of up to $100. Listed examples include hygiene items, clothing basics, reading glasses, writing materials, snacks, drinks, greeting cards, and care-pack categories. Indigent supplies include basic hygiene and writing items under the sheriff's listed rules.
